COMEDK 2019 Eligibility Criteria, Admit Card, Result and Counselling

COMEDK 2019 is a state level examination which will be conducted by Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka. The entrance examination offers admission to seekers in various programmes of B.Tech. Near about 20,000 seats will be available for the qualified candidates of COMEDK 2019. There are 190 participating Institutes offering admission to aspirants within the Karnataka state. The registration process will commence from the second week of January 2019 for all the eligible applicants and the last date to submit the Application form is in the third week of April 2019. Mock test will also be made available by the authority in the first week of February 2019. The Admit card will be released tentatively in the first week of May 2019. The authority will also provide an Answer key for the candidate to estimate their scores. COMEDK 2019 will be held on the second week of May 2019 and the result is expected to be declared last week of May 2019. Counselling process will begin in the second week of June 2019.

COMEDK Eligibility Criteria 2019

COMEDK Eligibility Criteria 2019 gives an idea to the candidate whether he/she will be eligible for appearing in the examination or not. Only after checking the criteria, the applicant should go for filling the application form. The COMEDK Eligibility Criteria 2019 is briefly prescribed below:

•    Aspirants must have cleared 12th standard or second PUC or equivalent examination from the recognized board.

•    The candidate must have studied Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subjects with any of the following subjects Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Computer Science/Electronics as an optional subject.

•    Applicants belonging to Open category must have obtained 45% marks individually in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in 12th standard while applicants belonging to Reserved category must have a score of 40%.

NOTE -  Candidates who have done diploma are not eligible for COMEDK 2019 as there is no lateral degree course which is being offered by the examination.

COMEDK Application Form 2019

The conducting authority will release the COMEDK 2019 Application Form in the second week of January 2019. As the first step, the applicant needs to register by entering the name, date of birth, email id and mobile number. A user id and password will be sent to the candidate’s email address after successful registration. The candidate now needs to fill the required details in the form such as personal, academic, category and communication details. The details provided must be correct and valid. An incomplete form will result in its rejection. Along with the details the candidate needs to upload the scanned images of their photograph, signature, unique id and parent’s signature in the specified format. Once the candidate completes the form filling process he/she needs to submit it on or before the last date of submission. The last date to submit COMEDK form is in the third week of April 2019. While submitting the form candidate also have to pay an application fee.

COMEDK Admit Card 2019

COMEDK Admit Card 2019 will be generated only for the registered candidates. The admit card will be made available in the first week of May 2019 by the admission authority. Candidates can download their respective admit card from the official website by entering their user id and password. Admit card of COMEDK 2019 is an important document as it acts as an identity proof for the aspirant. Every applicant appearing for COMEDK 2019 must bring admit card otherwise he/she will not be allowed to enter the examination hall. The admit card will consist of details related to the candidate and instructions regarding the entrance examination.

COMEDK Result 2019

The authority will declare COMEDK result 2019 tentatively in the last week of May 2019. The candidates can check and view their result on admission portal by submitting their user id and password. After checking the COMEDK 2019 Result the candidate must download it and take a printout of it as it will be required during the admission process. The result will display the total score obtained by the candidate and the rank secured. Along with the result, the authority will also release the merit list.

COMEDK Counselling 2019

COMEDK Counselling 2019 will commence from the second week of June 2019 in offline mode. All the qualified applicants must take part in the counselling process and reach at the venue on time. During counselling of COMEDK 2019, the aspirant will be allotted seats based on their choices filled and rank obtained. Aspirants are requested to carry their original documents as well as photocopies with them for verification purpose.
