National Testing Agency JEE Main Exam Date, Pattern, Preparation Tips 2020

NTA will conduct JEE Main twice and in Online mode only. The first exam will be in the month of January 2020 and the second one will be in the month of April 2020.NTA will conduct JEE Main 2020 twice and in Online mode only. Now, JEE Main 2020 Exam will be conducted first in the month of January 2020 and then in April 2020. The application process for the January 2020 exam will start from September 01, 2018. Prakash Javadekar, Union Minister of Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India has announced the same at a press conference on July 07, 2018.

NTA JEE Main 2020 Exam Pattern

There are minor differences in the JEE Main paper 1 and paper 2.
Common rule: 4 marks will be granted to the candidate for the correct answer, but any wrong answer will lead to a deduction of 1 mark.

NTA JEE Main paper1 (for B.E., B.Tech):
  • There will be a total of 90 questions, 30 questions each from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
  • The paper will be of 3 hours.
  • It will be an objective type question paper.
  • Students can give the paper either via offline mode or online mode.
NTA JEE Main paper2 (for B. Arch, B. Planning):
  • Paper will consist of two parts:
  • Part 1- 30 questions from mathematics
  • Part 2- 50 question from the Aptitude test
  • And 2 question in drawing
  • Only the drawing part will be subjective, but the rest of the paper will be objective type.
  • The paper will be of 3 hours.
  • The paper will be available in offline mode only.

NTA JEE Main 2020 Preparation Tips

To prepare efficiently for the examination, candidates must make sure that they go through all the below-listed preparation tips and qualify the examination with a good score.
Firstly, Know the correct syllabus to gather the right study material.
Prepare a timetable on a daily basis in order to manage time throughout the day.
Take the mock test that will be made available online on the official website.
Solve as many previous years question papers as you can.
Understand the concepts and make short notes wherever possible.

  1. Maharashtra Common Entrance Test Result will release online on the official website only. The candidates can visit the official website and check their MHT CET Result 2019 there. The Scorecard will mention the marks as well as the qualifying status of the candidate. MHT CET Result 2019 will release on the official website only.
