National Testing Agency JEE Main Exam Date, Pattern, Preparation Tips 2020

NTA will conduct JEE Main twice and in Online mode only. Now, JEE Main 2020 Exam will be conducted first in the month of January 2020 and then in April 2020. The application process for the January 2020 exam will start from September 01, 2018. Prakash Javadekar, Union Minister of Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India has announced the same at a press conference on July 07, 2018.

NTA JEE Main 2020 Exam Pattern

There are minor differences in the JEE Main paper 1 and paper 2.
Common rule: 4 marks will be granted to the candidate for the correct answer, but any wrong answer will lead to a deduction of 1 mark.

NTA JEE Main paper1 (for B.E., B.Tech):

• There will be a total of 90 questions, 30 questions each from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
• The paper will be of 3 hours.
• It will be an objective type question paper.
• Students can give the paper either via offline mode or online mode.

NTA JEE Main paper2 (for B. Arch, B. Planning):

• Paper will consist of two parts:
• Part 1- 30 questions from mathematics
• Part 2- 50 question from the Aptitude test
• And 2 question in drawing
• Only the drawing part will be subjective, but the rest of the paper will be objective type.
• The paper will be of 3 hours.
• The paper will be available in offline mode only.
