University Level Exam Organized By The BITS, Pilani

Birla Institute of Technology & Science Admission Test (BITSAT 2019) is a university level exam organized by the BITS, Pilani. It is a computer based exam conducted for providing admission in various degree courses offered by Pilani campus, K.K. Birla Goa campus and Hyderabad campus of BITS. It is mandatory to qualify the BITSAT 2019 exam to get admission in various courses for the academic year 2019-20. Candidates can choose the campus as per their ease and comfort. BITSAT 2019 Application Form

• Students will be able to fill the application form through online mode.
• Only one application form will be accepted by each candidate.
• Upload the scanned images of photograph and signature in JPG/JPEG format.
• Size of photograph must be between 4 KB to 50 KB and signature size should be 1 KB to 30 KB.
• Candidates also have to submit three preferences for exam centres.
• There is no need to send the printed applicationform to the university.

Application Fee

• The fee payment can be done through credit or debit card, net banking and cash payment at ICICI Bank.
• The application fee will be Rs. 2200/- for other candidates.
• The application fee will be Rs. 1700/- for female candidates.
• Then students have to pay US $ 50 (Rs. 3000/-) for both male & female candidates, in case of choosing Dubai as an exam center.

BITSAT Result 2019

After the completion of BITSAT exam, result will be announced. Candidates will be able to check their result on the next day of the exam date.

BITSAT result 2019 will contain the total secured marks along with the number of total correct answers and wrong answers. Candidates will not be permitted to repeat the test for the same year

How to Prepare for BITSAT

• Before start preparing for exam, gather all the details about officially prescribed syllabus.
• Make a suitable time-table and prepare accordingly.
• Take help from NCERT books and previous year question papers.
• Make yourself familiarize with the exam pattern.

BITSAT Exam Pattern 2019

Candidates can check here the exam pattern of BITSAT 2019 exam:

• Exam Duration:The duration of exam will be three hours.
• Mode of Exam:The exam will be conducted through computer based online mode (CBT).
• Type of Questions:There will be objective type (multiple choice questions) asked in the exam.
• Sections:The exam will comprise of four sections, i.e. physics, chemistry, English proficiency & logical reasoning and Mathematics or Biology.
• Marking Scheme:Three marks will be provided for each correct answer.
• Negative Marking:One mark will be deducted for wrong answer. No marks will be given for un-attempted questions.

BITSAT 2019 Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have passed their 12^th standard from a recognised board.
• Candidates should have PCM and PCB subjects in their last qualifying Examination with adequate expertise in English.
• In the qualifying exam candidates have obtained 75% in PCM/PCB and also have scored minimum 60% marks in each subject
• 12^th appearing candidates will be able to apply.

BITSAT Application Form 2019

BITSAT 2019 Application form will be released on the Second Week of January, 2019. BITSAT 2019 Application has to be done online. Candidates have to register themselves with the required information. Not more than one form will be accepted from the candidates. They have to pay an application fee which is non refundable. Choice filling of preferred colleges and courses will have to be filled up by the candidates. The photograph and signature that the candidates have to upload have to be in the specified format.

 BITSAT Admit Card 2019

 The successfully registered candidates will be able to download the Admit card from the official website of BITSAT. It will be released online. Candidates failing to provide the Admit card on the day of the Examination will not be able to take the Examination. Admit card will contain candidate’s  name,exam venue, exam date, and time.

 BITSAT Examination Pattern 2019

BITSAT 2019 Examination will be held in the online mode. Candidates will be given a total of three hours for the completion of the Examination. The total number of questions in the question paper is 150. The question type is Multiple Choice questions which means candidates will be given four options to choose for every questions. For every correct answer, candidates will be awarded 3 marks and 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.

 Marking Scheme

1. Physics- 40 marks
2. Chemistry-40 marks
3. English and Logical Reasoning- 15+10=35 marks
4. Mathematics/ Biology-45 marks

 BITSAT Result 2019

The BITSAT 2019 result will be out in the online mode on the official website of BITSAT. Two merit list will be released after the result. Candidates have to enter the their roll number to avail the result.
