St. Stephen’s College, a constituent Christian college of University of Delhi

The St. Stephen's set the cut-offs for Economics Honours for humanities and science students at 98 and 97.5 per cent respectively. English Honours rivalled with Economics, with a cut-off just as high at 98.5 per cent for commerce, 97.5 for humanities and 98 per cent for science students.

Among science courses, it was 96 per cent for Chemistry, 97.33 for Physics, 94.66 for B.Sc (Programme) and 95.66 per cent for B.Sc (Programme) with computer science.The numbers given are only for general category students. The college reserves 50 per cent seats for candidates from the Christian community.
St. Stephen's releases separate cut-offs from the rest of the colleges of Delhi University and conducts interviews for all admissions irrespective of the course. There are no interviews for admissions in other colleges.
St. Stephen’s College Cutoff 2018 - St. Stephen’s College, a constituent Christian college of University of Delhi, has released the St. Stephen’s College 2018 Cutoff on June 11, 2018. The St. Stephen’s College Cutoff 2018 has been published in both online and offline modes. Candidates seeking admission here must register to the official college website and complete the online application process before the second week of June 2018. The interview schedule for the different subjects will begin from June 18, 2018. University of Delhi offers BA, B.Com, B.Sc among other UG programmes. St. Stephen’s College is one of the highly reputed colleges in DU, and the cut off list is published for each round.

The factors that are responsible for the DU Cut-Off 2018 are:

Number of Applications for DU Programmes 2018.
Highest and Lowest Marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying exam.
Number of Seats in a particular programme and college etc.
Like last year, Economics (Hons) has the highest cut-off at 98.75% for commerce students; 98% for Humanities; and 97.5% for science students. Students also need to have 90% in mathematics to make the cut. There has been an increase of 0.25-0.5 percentage points across the three streams, compared to last year.

English (Hons) also has a high cut-off — 98.5% for commerce students — similar to last year. For science students, it is 98%. Admissions, however, will take place following an aptitude test and an interview. The breakup is as follows: 5% for the test, 10% for the interview and 85% for Class XII board marks.

Delhi University Cut Off Will Be Released Soon


 The Delhi University Cut off will be released on 19th of June this academic year. The cut off marks of University of Delhi indicates the minimum marks to be scored in the qualifying Examination to get Admission in the colleges under DU. The Admission will be based on the marks scored in the 12th standard. The total number of affiliated colleges under Delhi university is 64.The Cut Off is basically determined on the factors like the Number of Applicants,Highest and lowest marks scored by the candidates,last year cut-off trends, and the number of Seats.

Points to be noted

  • Different cut off list will be released for different colleges and institutes under Delhi University.
  • DU Cut off is calculated on the basis of “Best of Four”. Here the average of the highest marks in any four sebjects are taken into account.
  • Candidates ho meets the cut off have to report to the respective colleges for the verification of the documents and payment of the Admission Fee.
  • Eight cut off list will be released on different dates for different Category of students.
  • For colleges where seats remain unfilled, they will release their individual cut off list.
